Not the best today. It feels like the craving has been more or less ever present with very little respite. The crazy thing is I don't want a cigarette in spite of the 'itch'. So, feeling more than a little tetchy as per the title but my lovely lady saw the symptoms and ordered a curry - never been a better reason for comfort food.
How long does that weird teeth grinding diaphragmy craving itch thing last?

Difficult to say! It varies from person to person but it does go away honest! You do just have to grit your teeth and get on with it. Try to stay positive you really are doing great and you are becoming a very active member of the forum with advice and stuff. Keep posting and reading and get on here and rant any time you want to.
Haze is right York, you don't strike me as the sort of person for bullsh*t so I will repeat what she says...dig in and get on with it as you are doing. It got better for me after about 10-14 days but cleared almost overnight after day 30 I recall. It might not be the same for you of course but there is my frame of reference.....you're doing so well, it will improve but just dig your heels in and get stubborn
I'm on day 11 and it has mainly eased, although at points today i would really have enjoyed a few good deaths, with myself at the less painful end... LOL!
Crazy isn,t it? nought to really flippin radgy in what seems like milliseconds.... keep on keeping on though... it gets better, further between and less liability riddled!
I sometimes think that watching a good action film helps. (with a bit of brutality) this non smoking has turned the pacifist into a temporary bloodthirsty monster LOL!!!
Can't really say when it will stop as everyone is different. I remember that I'd go for a while, sometimes days and days, feeling fine and then have a day when I'd be grinding my teeth to powder for no reason I could discern. I can't even tell you when that stopped happening altogether - maybe 4 months? - but I can tell you that they don't ever happen any more!!
You're doing the best thing you can, which is to do whatever it takes to make you feel happy (ooer, missus!!) . Tomorrow, I bet you anything, you'll wake up feeling miles better.
