The African Express

Four months done. Day one of month 5 today and like a big, lovely present/celebration...in to my city (I use that term loosely) rolls the african express. Out on to platform 4 spilled a great bouncing, beaty bunch of smiling music makers......and in amongst them Damon Albern a God amongst men He's been a God to me ever since seeing him on the Andrew Marr show singing of blackbirds and applecarts. You tube it. Its so haunty lovely.......and oh.....he is so devilishly handsome. Hellsbelles.....could you arrange to have him kidnapped and installed in the penthouse ready for my arrival? I think i'm being fair in giving you 8 months notice to achieve said mission.

Anyway.....platform 4 generally has nothing more exciting than a few pigeons pottering about in the rafters.....or a virgin train arriving to take me an hour up the tracks to Lancaster and my mother. Today though. Today. That will be day one of my fifth month.....today......platform four was bouncing, gyrating.......alive with pulse and rhythm and great smiling, hip swaying African music makers...who's drums and beats practically took the roof away from the normally bored pigeons. Aint life grand sometimes?

Heh heh. Touks and my lovely Haze. Thanks for defending me. I get a bit excited at times and have a tendancy to sound mental Seriously though....if any of you have a chance to see this at a station near you......i'd highly recommend going. Wonderful stuff. Once in a lifetime stuff I think.

Anyway...back to more boring matters and day two of the fifth month of not smoking. Boring

I think you have a tendancy to sound wonderfully theatrical and you make everything sound lovely and marshmallowy. Everything I love in life.xxx
