I'm a newbie I'm on day 11 of my quit going ok so far.
Except from at least day 2 ive erupted in mouth ulcers but also my tongue on the right a the far back feels all spotty itchy and burning it is drivin me bonkers!
It's made me realise how much I never want to smoke again if this is a side effect.
So I wondered if anyone had suffered the same? Has anyone got any tips or advice to soothe or get rid of this horrible feeling.
Thank you all and nice to meet you all

Hi and welcome
And congrats on your 11day quit.
That's probly one thing I did t get with giving up. Sorry I Carnt be of any help but someone will no the answer on here.
I have had a sore mouth but no ulcers, fortunately. Your mouth is one of the major areas affected by smoking so it can be sore while it is healing. From what I have read the gums and lining of the mouth will be clearing away all the toxins and dead cells and restricted blood flow will be returning to normal. I have found slight bleeding and pain in my gums to be the main issue. I got a natural toothpaste containing coQ10 from a high street natural shop and have found this to be fantastic. It also contains aloe vera so it soothes as well. Of course this is just me and may not work for you. If you are really worried perhaps a visit to the dentist to put your mind at ease?
sorry to read your have a sore mouth it is one of the side effects like bleeding gums but it will get better try rinsing your mouth out with warm salty water it will help to dry up the ulcers and doesnt sting that much
also once the ulcers have gone you should go and see your dentist for a check up and a clean
