That's how many weeks since I quit smoking. Closing in on 26 weeks, or six months, but it seems to be taking a while.
Anyway, nearly 24 weeks isn't bad, right? What should I do with the nearly $925 I've saved so far?

Oooooh $925 .......... what a nice dilemma to have.
Here's what i'm doing lately with my extra pennies. I have a car port at the bottom of my yard. I dont drive! It suddenly occurred to me that I could turn this dull thing into a fairyland oasis, instead of just dumping crap things like used tins of paint and step ladders in it.....and thats what i'm busy doing. Funny how things have a habit of occuring to one when one stops smoking
Its so much fun. I got lovely little tea light holding lanterns all wrapped in metal butterflies to hang around it.....I got solar powered little multi coloured lanterns. I hung union jack bunting along the freshly painted wooden structure. This was cheap as chips in this the year of jubilee and olympic merryment. Next up i'm getting cement paint to paint the floor. Havent decided yet whether to do a simple block colour or chequer board.....or get really arty and paint a pretend rug. So much more to do........fake ivy and plants to drip around the walls.......pictures too (I think) Cosy whicker chairs. Its the most exciting project since my bike....and that was pretty damn exciting. I'd get shot of $925 in no time Have fun whatever you do with it DGee. .... and congrats on your big smashing, nearly 26 week quit.
Have fun deciding
How about another trip to the casino you went to in April? Or another meal in an award winning restaurant of your cloice somewhere that you would not normally go to? There are so many things you can do with that amount of money. Have fun deciding, but also well done on your quit you are just a month or so behind me. Haven't we done well.

Actually, I'm headed to Vegas for the Labor Day weekend (I think that's just an American holiday). I have NO worries about smoking like I did the last time I visited a casino.
Going to see lots of good friends, do some boating on Lake Mead, maybe a little fishing, and certainly a bit of gambling.
But no smoking.
I'm on your tail DGee
I just know we will both reach the Penthouse,i'm that confident.
