Day 16 :-)

I cannot believe I have made it this far! Into my third week. Still feeling very positive and I have even started being more public about my quitting, telling more friends and family. I had held back incase I fell flat on my face but now I feel confident enough to share my progress.

I am off on my hols tomorrow with the family to rainy Wales. Slightly concerned about the alcohol factor as I haven't had a drink since the quit. Drinking was quite a major trigger for me so I am worried. It definately helps that the other half has quit too.

Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying their summer too.

Charlie

Keep it up Charlie...

I am 5 weeks today, I have only for the first time today said the words, "I do not smoke" until now I have just said I have not had a smoke for a few weeks.

I went out socially last weekend for the first time, I was a bit worried about having a drink and wanting to smoke, but you know what? it did not even bother me, I had no urge to smoke at all so don't worry.

I must add that my husband smokes and in the end I had to go outside with him each time - not to smoke - but I was missing all the gossip.

Good Luck x x
