50 Days

This is a kind of milestone for me because I have now had one non smoking day for every year I smoked. It 'does' get easier. I'm finding I have a more positive outlook to life and if anyone had told me 2 months ago that I could do this I wouldn't have believed them.

Fifty days is amazing. Really amazing. And fifty years is a long career of habit forming to break! You're well into the journey now, though, and it doesn't take nearly so long to undo the habit, thank God!

I expect some triggers and bad days will still crop up, but you've come this far so you know you can get through them and come out smiling. Just never make the choice to light up that first one, and it's plain sailing. Brighter, happier, easier with every passing day.
