Good afternoon everybody,

182days today sanity kicked in after 41/42 years of actual bodily harm. In all those years I knew the dangers of smoking, wanted to quit but didn't know I was addicted.

Why did it take a suspected heart attack which turned out to be angina and requires life long preventitive medication to bring me to my senses.

Simple really I didn't know I was addicted just thought I was weak.

Keep on keeping on.

Well done Michael!

Its such a pity many of us wait until the crisis happens before we finally realize we've been literally playing with fire. As you may know it took me having a DVT and being hospitalized for ten days at age 50 to finally wake up to reality.

It can't be stressed enough that it may not happen to you, but if it does, you'll feel pretty darned ashamed for having ignored all the warnings!

Alex.
