I have lost count of the number of day 1's I have had. This has got to be the last. Time to beat this habit.
Time to get this sorted: I have lost count of... - No Smoking Day
Time to get this sorted
Hi Ellie and welcome back to the forum
most of us have had false starts and then it all falls rapidly downhill when the first crisis comes along to upset the apple cart so to speak
but try just concentrating on one day at a time and saying to yourself
i am not going to smoke today
keep mind and hands busy when your getting a crave come on will help as they do pass
writing down your reasons for quitting is also a good motivation as you can reread them whenever you feel yourself having a wobble
posting and reading on here will help as well the people on this site all know what you are going through some are further down the road but we all support each other along the journey
just remember you want the control back from that white addictive expensive harmful stinky stick
and it is achievable and at the end of the day smoking doesnt actually help with any situation you still have to deal with it and infact end up kicking yourself for giving in to it
but you can do it honestly
onwards and upwards is the way to go
regards
Carol
