after 20 years of smoking 20 a day possibly more that time had come to give it up.
moods not been too bad using a e cigarette had to do the menthol flavor, could not stand menthol flavor fags but this seams ok probably because the other e cig flavors are so wrong:eek: !
the only thing that is bothering me now is my breathing never had i spent all night awake struggling to breath until i gave up the fags, temptin to go back on the fags to sort lungs out!!
does this all get better with time as previously when got to this point gave in

Well done. Your body is obviously not ready for good health and fitness!!
The alternative is frightening... you go back to your thirty a day, £300 a month habit. Be ruled by a stick of poison, smell like an ashtray and most importantly, clog up those airways and arteries again and give lung cancer its easiest opportunity.

Haze56... Thanks! It's a large part of my personal strategy. I try to create readilly accesible lists of reasons not to quit quitting...I create huge mega lists!! (Health, finance, hygene, lifestyle, etc) all in attempt to build a large barrier against the demon.
The larger I make that barrier, the harder it will be to climb!
If the reasons can in anyway be helpful to others, I am honoured and humbled for that to be so. It's not an ego thing at all...we're in this together.
i have to say the smell of smoke is disgusting
no intention of returning back to it
and food tastes sooo much better
breathing feels better after all the years of abuse no wonder i feel rough!!
had a chest infection all on the mend now and things looking up
using a e cig still, much nicer than smoking without the smell trying to get other half on it too will be that annoying ex smoker and keep on until i win
