I will turn into a pumpkin

JUST JOKING:p

Doing a 10K Ladies Midnight Walk for our local hospice. There will be about 800 of us dressed in fluorescent yellow or blue legwarmers fishnet gloves and tutu's.

What a sight, good job it will be dark:) would not have even considered it before I quit.

I will also be moving up to Month 4/5:D cant quite believe it. Think this is the longest quit ever and I just know its the one! Can't thank you all enough for your inspiration and support:D

Being as I will be in the new room for a couple of months - what about a painting party - any ideas on colours? That's when/ if I recover from my walk!!!

Magz......I am so incredibly utterly proud of you. Smoked for 40 years and booted it into touch. What an amazing job. So so so so so proud and pleased for you. Maybe even slightly more pleased for you than you are for yourself :) Massive Dippy hugs for you. x

Thank you Carol, Haz, Dippy and Sue for your encouragement.

I completed the walk in 2 hours dead! Think I now need new hips and knees as I can hardly walk this morning:rolleyes: but on a positive note I raised £280 for a very good cause and it all came about because I quit smoking:D

Dippy, your qoute " Maybe even slightly more pleased for me than I am for myself" (can't do the coping bit) really made me think.

You're right I have smoked for about 40 years and have tried to quit in the past. this one feel different somehow but I am still waiting for a bolt from the sky giving me massive cravings and a really hard time:confused:

I am afraid of becoming complacent so will stay on my guard for now.

Keep strong everyone:)

Hey mag so well done I am proud of you. Actually I am sure we are all proud of you. Walking 3+ mile per hour is not hanging about

Just keep saying no and next time you will be running round.
