Packing my bags...

Well, in a couple of days I can move to Month Three. I'm a stats junkie, so here's mine at the moment:

I haven't smoked for 59 days, 15 hours, and 4 minutes.

I haven't smoked 1,192 cigarettes. (That blows my mind the most.)

I have saved $330.34 in US dollars.

I wouldn't have made it this far without this forum, which I stumbled on two days before I quit. I would not have made it without all the support and wonderful advice and posts of so many people here - too many to mention because I'll accidently leave someone off the list and disappoint them.

Recently, I thought I was "through" with the process of quitting, and then I had some unexpected battles with new craves to deal with (successfully, I will add), so I now know that it takes more than a few weeks to reach a place where I can be really comfortable that my quit has worked.

So, I'm packing my bags for my move into Month Three in a couple of days and have resolved to keep taking it one day at a time. After all, this has worked for 59 days in a row, so it must be a good strategy!

I didn't want to say anything at the time but i did think your post about not needing this forum as much was a bit premature.

You will sail through the days and the odd week here and there before suddenly it all hits you in the face again. I remember this torment only to well..

Mate - could be worse, you could live in the UK. That would be £486.80 (at £8 a pack) if you lived over here, or $782.26 in your same-sized monopoly money!
