Message for all recent quitters

Hi All,

I have just checked in again to see what is going down on the 6 month plus section.

And I find some great messages from people on 7, 8, 9 and 10 months who seem to be exhibiting a common theme, namely posts by 'Francob' 'Barney dk' and 'Mash'.

And the common theme is that it gets easy, never mind the old war stories of 'I stopped twenty years ago and always fancy a fag'.

My thoughts at coming up to 10 months iare thoughts of victory,

I cruise through the days and I sometimes think I used to smoke, probably in the same vein as I sometimes think that I once went to disneyland.

Stay positive new quitters, the moment does arrive, just not with the fanfare you are expecting, its a gradual process, and I was a very heavy smoker for 30 plus years who thought that life was unbearable without the fags.

Perservere and the rewards will follow, excuses are easy to find.

Fortune favours the brave.

Good luck to all

Pete

Hi Pete,

I couldn't agree more... statistically speaking.

Thanks for popping in and giving a great message to those starting out!

Alex.
