Quit many times and always gone back to the cigs which is a shame when you consider the freedom of non - smoking .... no yellow teeth ... breathing much better .... skin healthier ... no smell on your clothes ... in fact the plus outweigh the minus by a long chalk but stupid doughnut still went back to smoking.
Read a book by Alan Carr .. an easy guide to giving up smoking and sods law it worked for me.
Started my quit date on 22 -04 - 2012 Cold Turkey.
With all my failed attempts i have now realised that its your own mind - set that will make you quit the habit ... for me it was a case of wanting to give up smoking but a small part of me said no you don't so that little part got me back to smoking.
Now i want to kick the habit so one day at a time
Kind Regards Tim

Recently (couple of months) there's been a lot of folk that have drawn some support and wisdom from the Easyway.

Once you get to understand '...that small part...' you'll find the whole myth of smoking exploded. How can you make that happen? Keep reading into the subject, in previous posts here, plus other links that appear in some of our sigs. Ask questions, post your thoughts, and support others which helps to bed in that knowledge into yourself.
Hi Tim well done for quiting the cigis you can do it, if I get desperate urges I have cinnamon sticks I keep in my bag/pocket which I suck on (its like a piece of straw sticking out your mouth) I find this really helps, also monkey nuts if I get urges in the evening.
