I gave up last Saturday 14th April, but only just found this site...
Day 1 was great, went to see the football with my son and was nice not to be looking for an excuse not to pop out of the ground 
Day 5 was difficult when I was working with 2 smokers, but to be honest the stink of them when they got back was pretty repulsive, and reminded me of what I must have put my wife and kids through...
I am using medium patches and occasional use of an e cigarette, which so far seems to be working ok,
Bad sides so far I do seem to be eating more, but trying to eat the right things like fruit, also planning to go for a run later to keep that metabolism moving
