hello all!! i havent been on here in so long. hope everyone of you are still quit..we hit 16 month on may 1 so congrats all!!

did we ever think this was possible!!????? i still cant believe in have nearly a year and a half smoke free....i love this freedom!!

so new years quitters --how are ya all doing?

i am here and going strong and no not in a million years did i think i would reach this point but i am so glad i stayed strong and did it i wouldnt swap this freedom for anything i love it to much

thanks for all you support IAQ over the last 16 months we all made it together and helped each other through the tough times

Me still popping in now and again, glad to see fellow quitters still going strong and how this forum is very much still helping others to 'see the light' (and joys) of being smoke free.:D

Think i'm turning into the worst ex-smoker ever as i really can't stand the stench of someone who has just had a cigarette.... and unfortunately i have started to inform them that they STINK! :rolleyes:

I can't believe i used to smell like that, urghhhhhh!!!!

It's true that the smell of a smoker is very bad. Although, I still find the smell of a burning cigarette enjoyable - so stay alert.

We smoked this nasty drug for years and years and it still lures in many new users all the time. Saddening really to see people starting now after it took me 20 years to quit. :confused:

To look on the bright side though - smoking now is a lot more frowned upon than it ever was. Smoking is banned in a lot more places now than it ever was and quite rightly so. Although i say that as an affirmed non smoker!
