Hiya ALan. Well done on your full weeks quit, just keep on doing what you have been doing, it seems to be working ok. If you get any particular problems, post on here and wait for a couple of replies. Don't forget to watch out for little triggers, and, if you do notice some change your routines. David

Just finished week two recently... Keep your guard up as craves may be a bit farther apart, keep drinking water and keeping busy if it gets tough. Breathing in loads of clean air seems to have a calming effect too! Remember your reasons for stopping and take it day to day if you feel like you are going mad... Week two was anger filled for me, but it peaked and then has been on a downslop for a few days. Educate yourself too, as reading about why we all stopped and going over smokings negative effects will help reinforce your resolve. Good luck, you are doing great!

Hi Loo i think youve answered your own question, just look at why u failed and dont repeat the mistake. Remember why u quit and keep your motivation sharp.

Hi. My tips are to fight it all the way, don't give in!! Ignore the craves and do something to take your mind off it. Also I wasn't a quitter that was into food, which I was suprised about, but found hot drinks really helped take the craves away!! They relaxed me.

Also walks, I walked my poor little dogs legs off in week one and two lol

And just think how bad day one was. Day one wasn't exactly hell for me, just a bit 'strange' dunno how it was for you but I certainly don't want to go through that again so just think of that

Good luck, don't give in!! X

Well my advice is not to make your quit bigger than it needs to be.

Expect some down moments, but don't dwell on them when they arrive. Know that if you don't feed them, they will be momentary, and then you can get on with your day. Focus on the positives - you are doing great.
