I would just like to say how amazingly useful I've found this forum. I don't think I'd have got this far without it. I truly believe that I have been successful in stopping smoking because of everyone on here - when I've had a doubt or a query it's been immediately addressed by a fellow 'non-smoker'. Thank you everyone. x

It's the posters who make a forum successful. The layout and people on here are superb. It's not over moderated either which can have a negative impact on any board.

It certainly does helps you in your quit. You don't want to let people down or buddies who have quitted on the same day as you (cough Vike)

I'm happy to be here and to be offering any support i can to others. :)

I'd never have done it without this place. Once or twice it was just the thought of having to come on here and confess to everyone that I'd cracked which kept me on the straight and narrow! And there are some pretty amazing people on here always ready to help and support.

No doubt, this forum was what made my quit.

I couldn't agree more, it can be hard having no1 to talk to about cravings/side effects or random Urgs to clean

Totally Agree

You've hit the nail on the head. This beats any smoking cessation meeting at the docs, the thought of which completely puts me off using any of those services.

Round here you've a 24/7 forum to answer questions and keep you on the straight and narrow in moments of weaker resolve.

Wish everyone knew about this site - I'd have quit long ago if I'd had this resource.

My success has inspired 4 others at work to seriously question their smoking - am for sure making sure they know about this place.

hokumpokum i could agree more, before i found this site, id struggled failed, tried again never really getting anywhere.

But then i stumbled upon it and to be honest ive never looked back, i too was offered the sessions by my gp a few months ago, but im not one for sitting in a group once maybe twice a week. i needed more than that in my early quit days. This i found on here. I'm well in to 3 months, 65 days. i'm looking forward to the next 65 days and the next and the next.

Ive recomended this forum to a few work collegues and a couple of family members who are either planning to stop or have stopped and need somewhere to vent there anger, get support and help.

Keep up the good work guys this place is awesome.

Si

I know i wouldnt have stayed smoke free without this forum

the wonderful people on here that gave me support and advise in my hours of need and also giving me links to read about educating and the mindset has utterly changed the way i think about smoking and im now over 17 months smoke free :D

i know i would have given in and smoked (that has been my downfall before in the past ) as i had such alot of on going crap last year :(

i could have easily justified to myself in my head to start smoking again and carry on that horrible vicious cycle

but i live by my sig of N O P E

no matter what life throws at me smoking is not going to help its not a magic stick its a very poisonious addictive white stick that used to be on control of me and my life

BUT NOT ANYMORE

YEE HAAA
