Just wanted to say Hi, sorry if in wrong place!! On day 23 using patches and lozenges, been really struggling last two days but still plodding on refusing to give in cos I know I don't want to smoke any more.
Gave up before for 4 months so I know I can do it but found three weeks hard last time too so know it will get better.

Well done Amanda...day 23 is awesome. Welcome and greetings from another quitter LOL! I found the fourth week harder than the third week but I think that period in general is tough. You're facing new situations where you used to smoke and that can be hard to handle without reaching for the ciggies. Hang on in there, you're doing fine. Like you said, you know you got to 4 months last time so you know you can do it this time. Just try and think of what made you smoke last time and try and learn from it for this time. Congrats and well done for getting to day 23.
Thanks for your reply Lisa, I suppose it is actually week four I'm on LOL, I really WANT to give up now because I have COPD and asthma was diagnosed with mild copd 5 years ago but my breathing was getting really bad,out of breath really easily, but I can honestly say I could probably run to the end of my road now so that gives me the motivation to keep going... it's nice to actually be able to breath!!, it was the old sad tale last time ,had one with a friend who was really upset about something, then another cos I thought I had got away with it,then I just thought OH well I will just go and buy some!!!
Feel really positive this time and remind myself about the wheezing, and breathlessness don't want to go back to that or face a future of being tied to an oxygen bottle, I'm only 50 could have another 30 yrs left in this auld girl!! LOL.
Your doing extremely well, your family must be really proud of you as you should be yourself. WELL DONE!!
