Those cravings are back with a vengeance, and somehow in the house is a very faint smell of cigarette smoke, it's just kind of in my nose if that makes sense.
No-one has smoked in the house and everyone who has visited is a non-smoker.
Oh well, I'm still here.
It's not beating me.
Never give up giving up!

I know exactly what you mean bananaskin. Some days I smell cigarette smoke too - it can be very persistent. I've put it down to the body getting rid of all remnants of smoking from the body; deep in the muscles etc. I assume once it's been metabolised some of it leaves via the lungs.
Once again its your brain playing tricks again  I can sometimes smell smoke in rooms and on people where its impossible to be there. I can hear "I am awake for my dummy" cries during the night when grandkids are not stopping. I can lose money from my wallet even though there's only me and the wife in over the weekend! Bloody brain HA

Thats your mind playing tricks on you, I was at the same position yesterday and I was told that walking and fresh air will change your mind and it worked, any time you feel like you wanna smoke just go outside have a walk around a park or anywhere and if you have time go swimming, don't ask me why swimming help it just does for me :D, I think its the water that cools you down.
I have that too . . can smell smoke like it's seeping through the walls . . of course we'll all be finely tuned to sniffing the stuff out and our senses will be on high alert when we do pick up the faintest waft but I think it's a trick of the mind too.
My cravings stepped up a gear on day 21 but it's like we've forgotten how hard day 2/3 was and think that it's as bad as then . . it's yet another trick of the mind. Walk/talk/chew gum/read or anything else that distracts you until you've ridden it out . . it does pass x Jo
