Day 5 Concerns

Hi

After reaching what is now day 5 without any major side effects, I now have developed a sickness and shakes, has anyone else suffered this?

Is it a side effect of quitting or should I see a doctor?

Thoughts appreciated. :confused:

Hmmmm... I wonder if you've just caught a bug. I've heard of this winter sickness and diarreah (sorry I can NEVER spell that word right!) Bug going around and it doesn't sound pleasant!!

Go and see a doctor. At least if it is only a side effect then he can tell you and put your mind at rest

What are you using? I've heard of some pretty serious side effects of champix

Sounds more like a virus to me. Have you got a temperature?

I would drink lots of fluids and retreat to bed.

I am using patches, dont know whether to reduce the strength of patch or just a side effect, I shall try to ride this out, if not its a trip to the docs for me.

Bed would be great but have 3 more 12hr night shifts ahead of me, looks like water and paracetamol from here on in!! :(

Hi Don. Sounds like a bug to me. May only last 24 hours. I am sure if it was the patches you would have had them sooner? Dont envy you the night shifts Good luck with getting over it.

Just had some nurofen so all being well I will be well, Shall go for a run during the night on my break to see if sweating it out works also. If I sweat that is, MINUS 8 here last night, sometimes working outside has its drawbacks.

Just an update really, I am fine today must of been a bug/virus. Mid day 6 and feeling good, Hope everyone else is good also :)

Glad you are feeling better today. I am on day 8 and I am so bloated does anyone else feel like that? Apart from that I am ok. This site helps me a lot.
