Lack of motivation

I hate this part of the quit, today I have no motivation to do much of anything. So far the only thing I have done is spent 4 hours on this forum…….. I need to get over this part fast. When will it end?

sparky i know that it is tough when your in it!! i do remember! but always know that it doesnt last forever..its just part of the start of your quit!!

down the road you will see it get so much easier...i just know it!! it hard to see that the sunshine will return when its raining but it will!

keep it up sparky..you will be glad you did!! we have all been where you are and some are going through it now or will be going through it ...so chin up!

Hi sparky, when did you quit? If no motivation, sometimes i think it's just better to forget the whole thing and chill for as long as you need, then come back again, fresh to it.

Karri you have a great memory - I was up until about 1/2 hour ago Let that be his problem. I'm done with smoking and if I have them within reach I may be tempted

hilary - I can't give up this time. I looked at my join date and it was a year and a half ago. I have had may failed attempts and it never gets any easier for me so this time I'm going to give it a much better effort than I have in the past

What matters is that you are here again and you are having another go.

No, quitting smoking never gets any easier, it's a blessing and a curse though, because it never gets any harder in the physical, although it does get ingrained in the psyche.

You are here again, and you are doing good.
