Day 24 and dying for a smoke..really am,everyday is getting a little harder now..

On the upside iv just saved £100 according to the stats on my phone..whipee!

congratulations clare! I could smoke but I just know we wouldnt enjoy and kick ourselves so much if we did.

I am going to celebrate when i hit the 1 month this weekend. You should treat yourself to something nice with the money you have saved!

I'm on day 24 as well. You're not alone. It IS getting tough. I keep thinking that what would be really good right now is a fag. And for some reason this is much more persuasive temptation than the fireworks in the first 5 days.

I don't know why this is. I was cruising, I quit cold turkey and was finding it easier than I expected, I've even gotten completely drunk and not really felt like smoking. This is more subtle more like a low-level persistent nagging...

Anyways reading through this site has helped a lot. It seems to me that we will all face serious challenges at different times in our quit and especially at times when we ought to be home free. I guess it time to hold on and focus in why you quit as well as having done (by now basically 25 days) why go back to zero.

I don't think it's the day 24 (even though I am also at that day), I think it is the super nova. LOL Whatever it is, I feel it today also. I was doing my OH's taxes and with the nova thing been having problems all day. Finally I told him "I earned a fag today", but I didn't take one. I laughed at the fags....you can't make me smoke you anymore!!!

Just stick it out and remember why we are doing this.....ppat
