DAY 6 very happy but.........

read alot of posts through out my first week so thought i would post for some advice or if anyone could tell me if what i am feeling is normal.

Right first few days was hard but got through them and now i am feeling really good about my self dont get any bad cravens but there is something in the back of my mind like a little voice trying to persuade me to just have one to see what its like!!! It is there nearly all the time.

Is that normal and will it eventually just go away the longer i stay away from smoking?

hiya....yep that's normal and that ol nicoteendevil stays around for quite a while.......you just gotta be one step ahead at all times..... :rolleyes:

it does lessen over time ....but you gotta be strong n kick it into touch

When I get that, I go and hunt down some anti-smoking literature on the interwebs. The videos and articles at whyquit.com are pretty good for that!

ok thanks, but i am thinking about smoking all the time, not as in i need one but more as in i want to try one and things will be rubbish if i dont smoke. I am only on day 7 now but will this eventually go away as it is really annoying and no matter what i do i think about it when i am doing something else.... Is this normal??

It will go away, eventually your subconcious brain will remember smoking less and less as time goes on the voice gets less and less. Shout back at it when you hear it, tell it to sod off, it's quite a coward that nicodemon when you shout back at it
