Struggling

Struggling today...but won't have a cigarette. Been to my friends funeral and can't stop thinking about her and her husband. I've been thinking of fags since the service but I can't have one, she would be so disappointed, get in a pissy and shout at me if I did!

Aw Lisa I'm so sorry. As you know I lost my friend just before Christmas so I do know what you're going through. And you don't need a cigarette, it is comfort you are looking for. Sending big hugs (((( )))) to you.

i know its a hard time but would like to let you know that im finding it just as difficult at the moment because everything still tastes and smells of fags and im desperate for it to stop but until i have camera down throat there is nothing i can do to make it feel better.

i never want to smoke again but its constantly in my head I AM DYING FOR A FAG!

i really am not not but that saying says it all, i only think im dying for a fag cause thats what i would usually do when im feeling not in control...........let the nicodemon take control.

Thanks for the support guys, hard day yesterday and then wasn't feeling very well during the night so I only got a few hours sleep on the sofa....just makes you feel low and that's when the nicodemon see's you feeling vulnerable and trys to tempt you. you're right zoemac...it's just the comfort of familiar times to help you through rough patches but we can do this and make non-smoking familiar now. Well I've never got past three months before so I'm determined to get past that milestone...also this quit is forever. I deserve it to my friend to stay quit anyways.

Sorry you're having it rough too Jenni....constantly not feeling great really gets you down. Hope you get this diagnosed and sorted asap. You're right....we've come so far...no freaking way baby.
