Hi, i'm a new member, currently on day 3 of quitting cold turkey.

I'm quitting because after 15 years of smoking (nearly half my life!) i'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!

I never knew that after only 3 days of not smoking my lungs would start feeling so much better, getting up in the morning would be easier and i could go for an hours bike ride without feeling like i'm going to die.

A big plus for me, and one i really didnt expect, is that i'm not feeling my usual anxiety (something i have suffered with for years). Dont get me wrong, i'm getting the nicotine withdrawals really bad, which is stressing me, but i dont feel like im anywhere near having a panic attack.

I just hope i can get through the worst of this.

    Glad to hear you're feeling so much better already. And it will keep getting better! There's nothing good about smoking - nothing to miss.
