Hi Mate,

Good for you, Cold Turkey is the only way to quit in my eyes, I'm on day 11 and feel good, take it one day at a time, it will get easier even in these early stages, I find drinking water every time a craving happens really helps!!

Oh, can any of the longer quitters be able to tell around the time all the crap starts coming off the chest? I can feel I've got a lot of it but it never seems to move, thanks.

Day 5 and smothered with a cold

Its Day 5 and actually not feeling any cravings. However I think this is due to the fact that I am smothering with a cold.....not sure if it is related.

If it is then its giving me a reason to not relapse have to go through this again.

I think it depends. I had a few days of having some gunk come up after about 3 weeks, but generally felt that I had a lot more breath after a few weeks.

About a month after I stopped, I suddenly noticed that those deep breaths didn't get any restriction anymore as the airwaves were much clearer.

You're doing fantastic though. Almost a whole week, and it's going to get easier from here. Stick to this and you WILL do it with your attitude.

Not what you're looking for?
