hi pda

basically i was on day 99 on new years eve when i stumbled and had 2 roll ups after getting rather drunk. i was going to put it down to a blip and carry on however most members were good with this but some said that it would be wrong to carry on so here i am. should of kept my mouth shut. anyway i think you get the idea . i am being punished. ha ha

Your post titles should be "day x (day y)" to please everyone

where

x = the date the forum gestapo wants you to be at

y = your true quit length (minus one day if you are feeling guilty over two drunken not even real ciggies!!) - the date the most reasonable and right minded people (home guard???) of the forum want you to be at

Happy Day 109!!!

to a degree i think you shouldnt have had to restart i know the not one puff ever is that but and this is a big BUT

as someone mentioned on your other thread about the fact that your not started smoking again on a daily basis still makes you a none smoker

the fact that got a lot of peoples backs up is that you did have 2 rollies and that was it end of but for the newbies just starting of for anyone really struggling having those 2 and continuing on your quit is sending a message to yeah you can still be none smokers and but can still have the odd one in your case you was lucky because the cravings didnt start back and you didnt feel like you were a smoker again but for a lot just having a couple of puffs would send them back down that omg ive had smoked there for im a smoker again

in your mind your a none smoker and have been since your originally quit so as long as you stay in that mindset then do as dave says still counting the days from the original quit

at the end of the day its staying quit thats important and

well done on keeping quit :)
