Day 10!

Just to drop by as I have been busy for the past 4 days. I am now onto day 10!

Following on from my last topic forum.nosmokingday.org.uk/s...

I found it hard today, I was getting annoyed at work but kept telling myself that smoking wouldn't solve anything. ;)

I feel myself being somewhat addicted though to my nicotine plastic thing. I like using it while I drive but it's also the first thing I think about when I wake up.

My girlfriend can go hours without using it. This is my only downfall.

How is everyone else doing?

I would appreciate it if someone replied :o

I am now onto Day 11. Feel like a smoke today, I just need to get away from my desk and when I did that I used to smoke.

I couldn't find my nicotine thing this morning and paniced. I feel like this is a bad sign of relying on it :( I did however find it just in time.

I'm sorry I have just realised that this whole topic is in the wrong section.......I will make one in Week 2.

There nothing stopping you going for a little walk instead of a fag break!!! My old fag breaks gave me time to think away from the desk - still need to get away after stopping!!!

In the early days I used to go and have a little nap in my car instead of fag/sarnies/fag (dinner now consumed at my desk, usually by 11am:eek:) to help with the constant tiredness.

I certainly wouldn't worry about being addicted to NRT after 11 days - most courses are for 3 months. if you are worried about it, go and see your doctor or sign up for no smoking clinic.

Not what you're looking for?
