right, about to head to the pub for my first pint since not smoking..... day 6 coming to an end cold turkey.... slightly nervous, I am aiming for 2 pints, chat with mates then home... hmmm have to see how it goes. Going to have to face it at somepoint!

Survived, i was not the life and soul of the party and pretty miserable but I didnt smoke. I felt very very uncomfortable. It had to be done though and now hopefully the big night out tonight, i will feel better.

Lungs feeling better today after plenty of sleep but it will get better just hope its sooner rather than later

thats a great read it is scary to start doing things where you would normally smoke :eek: and wondering if you wilbe strong enough but you were your all moving up into week 2 thats a great achievement

Hi Ben. Glad you survived it. Reminded me of a few very nervous nights out back in September. Take it from me, you need to be on your guard in the start but it really does go away. I had a landmark pi$$ up before Christmas where I didnt even think about smoking all night!! So stick it out!
