.... 123 days that is. Four months done, and I'm doing fine.
I can only come onto the forum at week-ends at the moment, but I can honestly say that through the week, I spend more time thinking about you guys than I do about smoking. You have become my favourite soap opera - all we need is our own theme tune, and then the BBC will come running.
Still feeling crappy physically, but I have been back to work "properly" for the last three weeks, which feels really good. Sending "work" e-mails for the first time since I joined this forum has been strange - I have developed a real love for these smilie faces on here, and get frustrated that I can't use them on Outlook!
I have never been stronger about quitting - this time, I really do choose life. So as always, a big thank you to you all - you will never know how much you have all helped me along the way.
Keep it up, gang, we are doing brilliantly.

Hi Mrs T, no excuses allowed we need all the support we can get on here so ask your boss if you can spend an hour a day to come on the NSD forum, tell him its part of your quitting smoking program and without it you might smoke, make him feel guilty :eek::eek:

PS outlook does have smilies
Hehe. Problem is I am a self employed consultant, so I'm that boss, and I won't buy it!! Didn't know outlook had smilies, but they probably won't enhance my credibility, in all honesty. Will just keep them for on here. ;)
You ( in my view ) are one of the foundation posts of the forum which carries a huge responsibility, cos if you ever falter many of the rest of us are liable to fall.
YOU must stay strong....
Also, I am guessing that you come back to here at the w/e because you saw what happened to FRANCOB when he said that he wasn't coming back ..............................and you don't want that to happen to you !!!
As for the soap opera that this forum is, I think you may be on to something revolutionary there... a soap opera conducted entirely on a forum, with actors (writers?) posting in character and using different sub-forums as different locations. I'd check for new posts several times a day!
Thank you all - and don't you worry, Grumpie - there will be no faltering going on here... Mrs T's house has now been officially named as a Falter Free Zone. It's the law.
