Day 39...a bit deaf...

Treat from Month 1 came around last night - Within Temptation concert at the 02 academy in Birmingham (Dutch Symphonic/Goth rock for the uninitiated - bit like Evanescence but much much better).

Enjoyed the gig tremendously but was suprised how many people stunk of fags (it was a sell out so the venue was packed). Had to go through a wall of smoke at the exit!!! Must be a rock thing!!!

Been a stressful week but have not smoked

- father in law in ITU after accident, OH very upset (and smoking lots) - he is stable now so good news.

- Got stuck on M6 - 3 miles in 4 hours on Mon aaarrrgggghhhh!!!

Wow what an awesome night that must have been i saw them afew years back and was amazed at her voice but if push came to shove amy lee and the female singer from lacauna coil are 2 of my fav who was supporting?

Support was Anneke van Giersbergen - only saw a few tracks, sounded quite good though :cool:

Normally more of a prog fan (Marillion/Fish/Mostly Autumn) but have to say WT were awesome!!!

Well done Dave and isnt it wonderful that you can use that money on something you can enjoy, rather than setting fire to it.
