Well - here I am on Day 6! 124 hours since my last fag!

Today has been a real mixed bag - this morning I woke exceptionally early - awake before my OH which is highly unusual!! Had abit of morning craving - but not as bad as it would have been if still smoking - so easing.

However, this evening - wow - that has been hard - the "just one" thoughts are almost constant - I know that I can't have "just one" - it will be "just ten" as I will smoke the whole sodding pack and then will lose the momentum and it will be "just xxxxxxx" - who knows how long it would take me to get back on the wagon!

Anyway - just need to get over this little hurdle and tomorrow will be a new day and I will be getting closer to a week!

How is eveyone else doing??

I'm doing the same as you...that "just one" thought has been with me a couple of days now...but it's just my brain trying to trick me. It'll go soon enough, makes it a bit easier knowing that's it's my devious self trying to get what it wants. I feel schizo at times LOL!

wow well done for not giving into that evil nicorette demon someone told me to imagine it as a very annoying child who continues to whine and moan because its not getting the attention it wants and ignoring it makes it worse so as long as you can ignore it eventually it will start to realise that it hasnt got the control it craves

Exactly how I feel - Schizo! Its like the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other....whispering in your ear!! Its mad really - its my brain - I should be able to tell it what to think!!

I had an annoying kid in front of me at football today - so putting a face to that whining voice will not hard! -) "Are we there yet??"

Your devil mate has been hanging around me for the last few days too. Hopefully he'll go play elsewhere tomorrow
