Just wondered does anyone not like how some foods taste now they're a non-smoker....I just realised I don't like Dolmios spaghetti bolognase sauce.

Lol, I cannot eat any spicy food now. Never liked really spice stuff anyway but even mild tastes too spicy now :eek:

I had an Indian curry (lamb rogan josh) last week - first since i'd given up - tasted quite weird, repeated on me, gave me heartburn and made me fart like a trooper (more than usual).

I don't know if its my sense of smell coming back or the change in my metabolism, but the farts were evil!!!

Chinese on the other hand appears to be fine!!!

Hmm I too have smelly farts and poos...I think I read somewhere nicotine has some effect on the old digestive system...anyway enough of all that. I may do a curry at home rather than at a restaurant and see if I still like them.

I'm also not sure whether I like coca cola anymore....like the real thing coca cola. For years I've loved the stuff and now..it tastes funny. Oh well out with the old and in with the new....will see if I've done a turncoat and prefer Pepsi!!!

i stopped liking loads of things when i quit they just didnt taste the same anymore

sadly though i started loving chocolate again :eek:which wasnt good but i now have control over how much i eat

but over all the pluses def out way the negatives i didnt realise that smoking made some of my alergies worse and i dont feel bunged up all the time like i used to

i can smell smokers a mile of :eek: and it smells disgusting i feel ashamed that i used to give my grandson cuddles when i smelled so bad he loves not having a smelly nanny anymore and since his brother came along which was after i stopped he has never had a cuddle of his smelly nanny
