I went out Saturday night with about 25 friends for a football reunion, most of the are smokers and I was fearful and would end up hammered and smoking again.
Well guess what ?? I was certainly hammered but didn't smoke - A few time I felt weak and considered stepping outside with a few of them but I managed to remind myself that I no longer smoke and If I failed now I would hate myself and the last 50 or so day would be a complete waste of time.
I am so proud of myself and felt fantastic waking up yesterday without that horrible stale smell of cigarettes - I still hand a shocking hangover however but after that amount of Jack Daniels that’s no surprise.
Another battle won and onwards and upwards.

Same here - few G&T's too many in the local on Sat but did not give in.
I hadn't even thought about it until we were sat near the door, and someone asked me with a big grin "Oohh what does that smell like? Are you not tempted??". When I did take a sniff, all I could smell was the staleness in the curtains and carpet etc, and no it was not at all tempting!
The hangovers a little easier and 'cleaner' don't you think?!
Well done JQ - Glad to hear you got through as well, people who blow smoke in your face just want to see you fail because deep down they are not enjoying smoking. Sad when you think about it.
My hangover was noticeable worse - mainly because I was drinking more, I think instead of being a sheep and following the smokers outside, I stopped at the bar for another double, lol.
