Day 6...who'd have thought it!

The dreaded weekend is here and actually is ok (at 11 am!!)

Had some toast which I never normally eat and watched Wales play France at rugby. Had to stop watching it though, made me too anxious...really sad they lost (I am half Welsh) and only by 1 point.

With Lillie's quit counter I have an extra 7 hours to live and saved £11.86. I used to get through 50 g of tobacco a week and smoked say 15 on a weekday and more at weekends. I think its going to be useful to watch the money/hours tot up.

There is a sense of being extra vigilant about everything at the moment, like I'm treading on eggshells around myself! It's a strange feeling.

I hope I will one day be carefree again...as if smoking made us carefree!!! I used to think about stopping everyday. That is not a nice feeling.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Well done on getting to day 6 and facing the weekend at home straight on. Just keep in your head how often you used to think about quitting and do you really want to go through all you have been through again.

Well done Lizzie :D:D

I know that feeling. im so glad to be free from constantly wishing i could stop and feeling hopeless and inadequate at not being able to. its good to take back some power.
