I honestly didn't think I see day 6. I had the most horrible day yeserday.
I decided serval times to buy cigarettes and couldn't care less if I would start again. I came on here reading a few posts to change my mind and it got me through. Especially the 1 week posts helped me to realize that I am not really that far from it.
I am so happy today and feel so good . First week here I come it wont be long :D:D

Getting that how easy it would be to buy some option out of your head is key. I decided early on that wasn't an option as that's what stumped me previously. One has to remember that's just the addicts short cut.
Congrats on day 6, things really seem to move on after a week.
Keep it going, believe me it really does get better and I am only a week ahead of you. You will really start to feel great and although you do sometimes think about them always think what you have put yourself through to get where you are tday. Is it worth putting yourself through it again?
Keep strong but you are over the worst now. I had a nightmare last night dreamt I forgot I was a non smoker and woke up in a panic :eek:Felt great when I knew it was a deam
I got myself the inhalator today and I find it so much better. The chewing gum started giving me a sore mouth. I wonder why I never tried it before :D:D:D.
glad the inhalator is working out i felt the same i had never considered it and yet it was the best of all the nrt and got me through some real tough times and to this day i take it with me if i feel i may need it but i havent used it for months now
but i would use it in a heartbeat if it ment not smoking

Yeah, the days of non-smoking just zoom past after the first week. I think it's because your mind focuses on other things, rather than smoking. Smoking becomes less frequest on your brain and you start to adjust to life as a non-smoker and it feels so good to not have your life controlled by those troublesome cancer givers.
