becca - you're not the first to fail a quit but I wouldn't mind betting it was the booze that weakened your resolve.

Either swerve the vino for a few weeks or have a plan in place when next out drinking, it's not easy but it's still easier facing it when already quit for a few weeks.

Good luck....

Stop beating yourself up, You are not a failure just the nicco demon was stronger and I am sure the drink didnt help, maybe a few weeks off the plonk just to give yourself a kick start.

You stopped for 3 years thats some quit, I am sure you will get there again cause you really want to.

its tough to resist a smoke when drinking so its best to wait a while before going out drinking with friends...but dont fear you can always get right back to your quit!! stick with it hun//it can only get better if you keep trying!! we are all here for ya and knw what you are going throught. i dont think any of us have really quit on our first try!! we live,we learn!:)

Hi Becca

You aren't a failure! Far, far from it, you've done a 3 year quit! OK so the demon booze got the better of you - like all the others I'd say stay away from it until you feel you're strong enough to get through the evening and still say no the nicotine.

You CAN do it, you of all people know that!

good luck :D

Chin up Becca , it happens to lots of us :).

The sooner you get back on your quit horse ....the easier the ride will be for you.

3 years was an awesome quit by the way

Best wishes

Trev
