Day 13

Hi all,

I'm still smoke-free but have had a voice in my head all day trying to persuade me to have just one rollup. I've finished work now so I'm going to cook myself a huge lamb curry and celebrate being almost two weeks quit.

Also, I ran into an old friend today. He was struggling to get over the c**** bridge - totally out of breath. He suffers from COPD but says he just can't seem to quit smoking. I really felt for this guy but was so glad I saw him because it reminded me why I really want to stay quit.

Hang in there I know it's hard, I bet that mate put you off, to see someone gasping for breath is awful, you don't want to end up like that.

Good luck. Maria.
