So... tell us about your weird and wonderful dreams while on patches

I was in a Fiat 500, in Africa... on Safari... because apparently, a Fiat 500 "is all you need" in Africa.

was being chased by daleks, they would start off as fridges or cars or owt u want and then they would slyly start to show their true colours and reveal a ray gun ,they shot at us and everyone started to lose there soul, i discovered a way to slow them down was to draw a perfect circle with my finger , i then leg it and another one starts to appear and attack. i keep saying it doesnt matter cos i can make a perfect circle with my finger repeatedly until an awareness came on me that this would be for the last time. i woke up with my fingertip pushing into my pillow it felt gorgeous. i was aware of the dream and was excited about it it felt awesome and then gradually it all became very ordinary.

Something about the perfect circles was exquisite and seemed like the answer to everything. all a bit pointless really

Far too many but I enjoy them now!

My husband features in most, trying to kill me with a screwdriver, food shopping and things are on offer so the next day I have sent him out for them as my dream seemed so real and most recently him winning 3k on a stupid game at work.

Last nights was us looking for a rescue dog and they brought us 3 to look at, one was like a rat but with sheep fur, the other was a staffy (my husband hates them) and the third a great dane the size of a horse that kept growling at me :eek:

For me they have been great, love going to sleep and I will miss them when I quit the patches, lol

Never had patches cold turkey but have had dreams of smoking and really enjoyed ahrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr what is that all about.

One of my favourite dreams when I was on patches on a previous quit attempt 2 years ago was being made the England Cricket Captain (I've never played cricket in my life and I'm not English) and getting lost walking from the changing rooms onto the pitch, I ended up walking the streets and then through a load of shops to try and get onto the wicket - I never made it lol.

I haven't had, or can't remember my dreams but how about dreamin by association?

My Mother dreamt I had a couple of cigarettes, whilst underwater and because I shared them with a hippo it was fine and they didn't count.

OMG I'm related to someone who has the most bizarre dreams!!!

awww - I do miss the dreams - had some god dam crazy ones myself - also some rather strange hallucinations.

I kept jumping off buildings in my dreams or falling into water or being chased or beat up by someone.

Only 2 weeks ago someone attacked me with a golf club lol - took me a while to get over that dream hehe

as for hallucinations - I got the yellow pages out and rang a pub I did not own and told them to close or something - can't quite remember - someone was after me or summet - most bizare lol

good luck on those patches hehe - they are scary at first but fab once u get with the swing of the dreams hehe

Hi, i forgot to take my patch off before bed the other night. This resulted in a very vivid dream about a superhero lady who turned into a duck. A cool chat in my back garden with spiderman and wolverine until a baddy turned up next door who turned into a rat!!!!!!!!!

Very bizzare but quite cool. In fact it was hilarious. Im gonna miss these patches when i eventually come off them xxx

Hi all, I started patches three months ago 25mg and had bad dreams very nasty things!!.

I have now gone down to 15 mg and again i am having bad dreams again and waking up often ,is this normal? should i come off the patches ?

Judging by your mg levels, are you sure you are on the 24 hour patches? The clear 24 hours patches are 21mg then 14mg.

Yes these are the clear ones ,not sure why I am still on them after three months ,are you suppost to be off them before this?

Best thing is yesterday I cut one in half and used that only ,that was a 15mg patch and I slept like a baby and had a nice dream instead of a nasty one .I think maybe their must be a link with the dreaming and patches

I was talking to someone about them last night and they said that nicotine is a stimulant and thats why you get dreams on the 24 hour ones.

Fiona is another member who used patches and she recommended cutting them to reduce the dose. It obviously works

I just loved going to sleep and loved the many dreams that I had when I tried to stop with patches, and some of the dreams would need to be censored if I was to go into detail but maybe that is just a man thing

I couldn't agree more Dannyboy! Sometimes I was so **** that I wanted two at the same time. Both of them would ***** and ***** me until I was about to *****. I'd flip them over and ***** them in the ***** one after the other until we all landed in a ***** exhausted heap together.

Phew, brings back such wonderful memories... Bring back patches!!! :D:D
