day 4, and a monday, ughh!! only got half a full fat patch left and i might need a little more to get through, so my 'pal' nicotine wil have to drag my sorry self to the pharmacy at lunch time
if i can do today, then i can face tomorrow, if i can get through tomorrow then i reckon i can face next week without a patch
crazy mind games nicotine puts you through, but they are just that, mind games, it's not real at all, just a hazy smoky mirrage, a few steps ahead is clean air and clear thinking, just a few steps now....

ty karri, well it felt like an age at the time, but yes it also feels like it has rushed by too! how strange is that!! you have a good day too, good to see you jogging alongside the wagon, come and jump up when it slows down at the corner
hey 5mol<er, I see this in you signature: "beware of Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Why.........is spring not a great time not to smoke? When the sun starts to shine, the sheep lamb, buds grow on trees, plants grow, daffodils and crocusis bloom. don't beware of spring it is a beautiful time to stop smoking. You can breath in that air, your sence of smell will return, you can smell the flowers and the damp undergrowth being dried with the sun.
You have the weather to go for walks even if it is raining you feel the fine spray on your face and know you are alive again. Free from that demon that used to haunt you, because you don't need to smoke anymore. There are so many other things for you to enjoy, grab spring, hug it, it may be what can bring you through to the time when you can say "No thanks I don't smoke."
The first time I said that and meant it was one of the most wonderful statements you will ever make.
well said Jack, and may i offer an unresearved apology to Spring, her family and close relations, for any offence caused or loss of income i will change my sig to make it a little more befitting!
Wow Jack
What a lovely place to live!!
yes indeed, looks beautiful!! though i'm not sure i envy you all those noisy sheep!!
thanks for the pictures and the kind words, brightened up the place no end
i don't know if it is the half a full fat patch i've got on, or maybe all the wonderful support from you lovely people, but you know i've been feeling pretty good over the last few days... perhaps it's best not to look too deeply, just celebrate the moment...
i'm going to dream of forests and snow covered mountains!
Now I feel it is worth my while coming back on here. if I can just help one person to reach that goal of stopping smoking it will make it all worthwile.
Going to watch Robin hood now so it will be a late night to bed but I'll pop back on here just before bed and tuck you all in.
