We are all different & suffer & experience different things in a quit so hard to give a timescale. The first 3 days physically are the hardest & you are almost there now.
If ever you get a pang or crave for a fag just take some slow, deep breathes while rubbing your bump. I am sure that will be enough to get you over it. Feel that life inside you & take pride that you are doing the right thing for your baby & his/her mummy
Well done quitting for your baby. I'm ashamed to say I couldn't even do that one thing for either of my 2 children and smoked through the pregnancies. Slightly reduced amount but never the less I smoked. Well done. I wish I had given my kids the best start in life. Still beat myself up about it.

Good Luck to you!
Hey Juliee - dont beat yourself up too much, i dont have any kids myself, but from the other side my mum smoked when she was pregnant with me - and i turned out great! Also in no way think my mums smoking had anything to do with mine, i chose to start in the typical teenager being "cool" (:rolleyes thing
I know what you mean everyone. There are loads of kids/adults out there whos mum smoked while pregnant. And all their babies are ok.My kids are 10 and 7 so I KNEW the dangers and still did it. I'm a nurse on a special care baby unit too!!! I know all the bad things and STILL smoked. I couldn't even do what was the right thing to do for just a mere 9 months. I always say I'd do anything for my kids - anything - but I couldn't do that for them - resist a fag for a few months.
But yes. I'm quitting now so that's the main thing.
