Day 10

Far better day today!

Positives:

[*]It is not raining!

[*]My mouth ulcers have gone

[*]I feel happy

[*]I have cleaned my car out and it no longer smells and doesn't have ash everywhere!

[*]The kids (10, 7 & 5) said they are proud of me

Negatives:

[*]Still eating far too much!!!!

[*]Bored but then I would be bored even if I smoked

wow, feeling happy is great going getting rid of the ash is a big step too, it's the last physical evidence of the huge impact that smoking has on not just us but our homes (and cars!), well done on getting to day 10!

Thanks and I must admit it has been far easier than I thought it would be!

Have just weighed myself though and have put on 3lb in the last 10 days so that is it no more excuses, time to get off my (now rather large) butt and exercise :eek:

Hey Chrissy, I have stumbled across this website.

I gave up on Monday 14th Feb this is my 10th day. I have tried several times over the years and have gone cold turkey! Cant beleive how easy it has been, i was spaced out last week having nicotine withdrawal but am fine this week.

Keep up the good work! I smoked 20 a day for over 20 years!! Going to treat myself to something nice at weekend .

congrats!! so happy for ya chrissie! it amazing isnt it? the positives definetly outweigh the negatives!! keep up the good work:) quitting really makes you a stronger happier person...all the hard times you go through quitting will always pass...get through one min at a time and you will be just fine!!
