Here it is day 7 on a CT quit, the completion of the first week and here’s how I feel. Tired, annoying cough, sore throat and more tired. I hope this don’t last long. Oh well no pain no gain I guess. This will pass to I'm sure

Hope everyone’s doing well

Have a great week

Way to go Sparks. It will pass, you're right. Onwards and upwards!!

All the little cilia, the little hairlike structures, in your lungs, which have been laid flat with all the crap, are starting to stand up and wave around, coaxing all the bad stuff out of the air sacs, and forcing them into your trachea. It's not an annoying cough - well it is, but it's also a good cough. :D

Is valentine’s day a holiday in the UK?

Is was rumoured it may become one some time ago but when it was realised that the men would have to spend the whole day with their wife/girlfriend then it was considered best to scrap the idea and go to work as normal :D

Valentines day is celebrated here, but it's all a load of b*llocks in my humble opinion.

My husband and I forgot it was even happening. As I was about to leave this morning he went 'hey, it's valentine's day. Happy valentine's day'. I wished him the same. And that was the end of it.

You should show your significant other every day that you love them, and express it in gifts and flowers if you feel like it, when it's appropriate. Not when the massive corporate marketing machines tell you to.

But that's just me - I'm a stroppy cow aren't I?

;)
