Lord...getting more cravings now than I did when I first gave up. It's horrendous, wtf is going on??? I'm sure if it wasn't for the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere & no shops within walking distance, I'd have caved in by now!!! :(:(:(

Be greatful for the lack of shops then !!! Seriously though you would really kick yourself if you caved. Try to look at cravings in a positive light if you can. I always saw (sometimes still see) them as a good thing. If I am craving then I am still not smoking and well on my way to being free of it.

I am sorry you are going through it right now BUT it will get better and you will be so chuffed with yourself that you made if through.

Stay strong, go have a nice bath or whatever you would normally do to unwind.

deep breaths sophie, sip some cold water, take a walk, the craving will pass it just takes a little time is all.

if you read through the old posts on here you'll see we've nearly all of us been there, and all you need to do to get past it is choose not to smoke, choose to battle the crave rather than give in to it,

best wishes to you, 5mol<er

Thanks, guys! I think if I walked anymore, my feet'd be worn into stumps...even my dogs have had enough. & yes, it's definitely a plus that the shops are miles away!!! I just have to keep in my mind that I am working towards a specific goal & stick to it :)

Hi hun,

Sorry to hear you are having a bad time of it, but just remember how hard you have worked and how well you have done to get this far. Then try remembering that you would be throwing that away if you started smoking again, that's what I do when I get the urge. hopefully it might work for you. Good luck.
