One other possible approach......... a drug induced coma for 4 weeks. You wake up and never even remember you were a smoker.......... just saying

great point John how about Rihanna, Pamela Anderson, Lady Gaga... the list goes on and on. Not really sure how that will help with the smoking cravings though
I would like to spend tomorrow Eating lots of nice chocolates, watching old films all day long..... not doing anything at all, no work no kids no Oh ...no nothing ...just for one day .....bliss

Well something like that happened to me in 2004.. I had a Pulmonary Embolism (like a stroke but in your lungs) Caused by combination of cigarettes and contraceptive pills. I was only 22!! I was in hospital on morphine, between life and death for nearly 2 months. When I went home I had no desire to smoke! I had held on to every breath I could get in my lungs for a month, trying to survive.. No way I was ever gonna smoke again!
Well.. We forget soon enough, believe me! 4 years later, after years of being healthy I thought I could have a drag. And I was right, it didnt make me sick and didnt get me hooked! So a week later I had another drag. Within less than 6 months I was a full time smoker again! After nearly dying 4 years ago, AND seeing my dad die of lung cancer! After 4 years away I was hooked again!
I thought it was a temporary thing. I had quit before, I could quit again! Well.. Its been almost 3 years! I am a smoker. And a stupid one.
But, hey! I'm on day 2 now!

I would like to spend tomorrow not sneezing, coughing, and feeling like steamrollered poop, which is how I have spent today
I would like to spend tomorrow being able to stay in bed past 6 am without being woken up by the covers being taken off me and my 2 year old DS saying 'Up mummy, bekfust pease' but there is little hope of that as he passed out at 5pm from being over the allotment for a couple of hours today.
