1 Week tomorrow :)

Really craving one this morning but trying to keep busy.

Still feel like I won't enjoy life as much without having cigs to look forward to but I'm fighting the nicodemon and just assuming this feeling won't last forever when I'm used to being a non smoker.

How are all the other day 4-7s doing?

C x

Hey!!!

I'm still here (just)

Had a really tough day yesterday - my nan's been taken into hospital and so i had my first dealing with stress and not smoking!

Also realised I really do live on cigerettes alone on mondays... I can never sleep on sunday nights, so I've had 2 hours sleep and really can't keep my eyes open!

I don't even want to smoke anymore - I just want to sleep and never have to get up. And as for work I swear the next person who speaks to me will die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway - Well done! Hopefully it will get easier and we'll start to not think about them all the time!

Hiya :)

I'm sorry to hear about your nan. My boyf had to go to hospital last week as well...but I just convince myself that smoking would actually make it worse...which it would...rather than thinking 'f-- it'. Which is what I would've done in previous quit attempts.

Maybe coffee will help with the tiredness...I'm eating less but chewing loads of gum still and drinking tea etc.

Theres a guy at work who I used to be able to tolerate, but now he GRATES on me and on Friday I had to bite my tongue so many times and today...well....luckily he's in meetings. I think I'm channelling my irritability towards him. Maybe not his fault...but the best thing is to go have a 5 minute walk if you feel like you're going to explode cause I've found this helps and you've soon forgotten about it.

Well done for getting this far...keep it up :D

Hi Coralie,

Glad your hanging in there too, day 7 for me today. I have had some tough cravings but the inhalator seems to help. Well done, we can do it. Time to treat ourselves with all that money we've saved !!

Chris - yes the alcohol accounts for 50% of all relapses I believe. But if at first you don't succeed... ;)

Thanks - over 1 week now. Had an awful night last night with a big argument at home with parents where I just couldn't stop crying and wanted a cigarette. But I didn't.

I live with my mum, dad and sister aged 20 who had a stroke in 09 (when I relapsed first time) and has speech problems - life revolves around her really. My mum some emotional issues and always has, that make it horrible living there and she's the only person who really makes me want to smoke. I am finding it hard to deal with.

Coralie.
