Well, this is what happens to me - I get going really strong then hit this wall.
Last night I had a very vivid smoking dream (which I understand are common when people quit) in the dream I was chuffing away like a chimney. In the dream I even had a conversation and said things that I would have said when I was a smoker. For example someone said to me (in my dream) 'I thought you'd quit' I said 'I tried but once a smoker always a smoker, I'll give it another go, besides you've gotta die from something and I may as well live my life as a happy smoker than tetchy non smoker'
Strangest thing is, is that I woke up with the muver of sore throats, as though I'd been chain smoking
This morning I woke up and was thankful it was a dream, however I now have the 2 mind syndrome as in to smoke or not to smoke. I obvioulsy will not smoke but it looks like it's going to be a bit of a battle today...

I'm still getting these at nearly 5 months Tinks so just get through the hard day and remind yourself (if you have to) why you quit... if it was so great we'd all still be doing it right?
I had a dream last night - one of my best friends from school was at a restaurant with me (she was the one who gave me my first cigarette)... amazingly she quit 1 year ago but in my dream she sat there calmy puffing away and just looking soooo happy. I was so torn whether to smoke or not in my dream... it was just like going back to the first few weeks of my quit and having that nagging 'Have a fag!' voice in the back of your head.
Even though I didn't even smoke in my dream I still feel a bit funny today... Keeping that guard up!
Whilst we are on the case with irrelevant rubbish, I consulted my crystal ball and apparently your dream means.................get this.............................
my last smoking dream messed me up for a day or so am feeling better now maybe the nicodemon is freddie crouger and if he cant get us awake he comes into your dreams and messes with your emotions and blurs your reality lol
boo - it certainly has I feel absolutely 'kerry packered' today, quite deflated but I know it's all part of the process and even people who have never smoked get 'low' days.
Perhaps today would be a good day to buy yourself a little treat. I would.

I will be tomorrow - pay day for me then, January always seems like the longest month for pay day doesn't it? I think it's because most peeps December's pay is paid early then goes on finishing off Xmas shopping. Unfortuantely money I would used to spend on fags goes on supporting my ever expanding waistline but come the weekend by eating habits are being reigned in too xx
those smoking dreams can really mess with ya i know!! i think iv had at least 4 or 5 in the last 26 days since i quit. i remeber one morning i woke up and actually physically felt like i had smoked the nite before:eek: but i didnt of course!! i always wake up having to sit and really think if i did or not!! anyway keep quit tinks!!
Tinks, I got a bit of a surprise a couple of nights ago I dreamt I was smoking too, I only had one smoking dream when I was back at the beginning, so I guess it can happen anytime.
