Now addicted to cleaning!!!

OMG Ever since giving up smoking on sunday - I have not been able to stop cleaning!!!! My house is spotless, my cushions have never been more plumped, The kids toys have all been found and are put away in the correct places, all the laundry is done, I am even thinking about taking all the clothes back out of the wardrobe again and re-ironing them!!!

Has anyone else been like this???

Think I may start decorating next, I recon I could have the whole house done in a few weeks!

hehe well if you are really keen on cleaning you could always hire yourself out

My house looks better and the ironing does not accumulate. I spend less time sitting on the sofa. I have also been baking.

My main project is going to be my garden. We have bever really planted anything because the boys were always playing football. Now they are older and go to the park, I am reclaiming it. I have quite a bit of digging to do when the ground is a bit drier. I like having more energy!

My wife says she doesn't see the point in washing up or house cleaning. You do it once, she says, and then 6 months later, you have to do it all over again.

I am the same i have cleaned my house from top to bottom - washed my curtains in my dining room that lead out to the garden as they smell of smoke even though i dont smoke indoors.
