....OMG Im still a bit in shock that I have managed to get this far.
First time at trying to stop after smoking for over 25 years.
I didn't even plan to stop it just happened when I got ill and had not smoked for a couple of days I thought I would try to see how long I could go without smoking in the hope I could pack in and here I am £300 better off and feeling fantastic to be smoke free. Yes I have added a few inches to my waistline but thats going to be my next aim starting in the new year.
Well done everyone who has got this far

Well done to you, too! 52 days is great! The extra inches to the waistline are highly annoying but in time they melt away with just a bit of effort! I had to stop the red wine and gummy bears at night to get rid of the extra pounds.... was a tough sacrifice to make but hey, the jeans fit again Good luck to you!
I know how you feel with added inches... i am down to one pair of jeans and am having to wash, dry and iron them of an evening... did get two pairs for Xmas, but alas too small
one step at a time though, get the quit totally under control... then do something about the weight.....thats my plan
I think there's a good few of us looking to tackle to big-D this month, myself included. Will be 8 weeks this coming Friday and, even though i haven't weighed myself for a while, my jeans are rather tighter than they were in Nov 2010!!! Oops!!
Raising my last wine for a while to you and a smoke-free and slim 2011
