I gave up for 6 months last year so I am hoping I can make this permanent this time. I have been at the gym 3 or 4 times a week since Jan so I am hoping that will help me stay quit and take my mind off the urges.
Cheers

Good luck! Sounds like you've got it well planned with the gym. I also find exercise really helps to take the edge of things. Do you mind me asking how you fell off the wagon last time?
Thanks for the replies everyone, Siana....
I got really drunk one night and had a few, the next day I had a few more. I have tried giving up quite a few times and it always starts the same, drink/pub, scrounge a few for the next few days because I don't want to admit I am back smoking, then buy packs of 10 etc etc. I thought I had it conquered last year and was really gutted, at the end of the day it was my fauly,I got complacent. I am worried that the cycle will happen again but I am trying educate myself more this time so that I can read the signs.
Anyway good to you and everyone
We have all been there. I have quit loads of times and made the mistake of having a few drinks which turn into a lot of drinks most times, then before a know it a feel the need for a smoke so i end up back on them, and the next day i feel like crap because i have smoked. I have only had one drink this time, which is good as i have a second job working in a bar, and we usually have a few.
Keep up the good work.
